The service
Portola Legacy Holdings, LLC, d/b/a Catalog Doctor offers Catalog Doctor, a Shopify app that scores a catalog and can write an approved fix back to a product. A score is a checklist. It is not a promise of placement in Google Shopping, Shopify Catalog, or any AI shopping surface.
Design partners and billing
During the beta, the first 5 stores in the design partner program can use the app without a Catalog Doctor charge, in exchange for feedback. Paid plans after that are billed by Shopify. Cancel from Shopify admin. The public catalog check is free and reads only what the store already publishes.
Your store
You need a Shopify store and the permissions the app requests. You review each fix before it is saved. Undo restores the previous value when the field still matches what Catalog Doctor wrote. You are responsible for the product data you publish.
Acceptable use
Do not use the public catalog check to overload a store. Requests are limited per IP address and cached. Do not send unlawful content through the design-partner form.
